Vintage Lingerie Shop La Boudoir Hosts Its Grand Opening Party Tomorrow

Good, vintage underthings are hard to come by--literally, they don't sell them anywhere (unless you've snagged some from a Terribly Girly photo shoot recently). So when we heard that a vintage shop that looks like the inner workings of a classic pin-up girl's lingerie closet was opening, we were intrigued.
But they don't only sell turn of the century undergarments. Here you'll find anything from the Victorian-inspired to luscious lace, satiny slips, the infamously loved/hated Madonna-style cone bras (hey, it was the '80s), and anything slinky, really. You'll find clothing and accessories here, too.

Framed, black and white pin-up portraits lean ever so slightly adding that extra dash of nostalgia, and the pastel pink walls and oval mirrors affix a certain touch of elegance. Their fragile necklaces and other jewelry are displayed on the homey nightstands, making us nostalgic for Bettie Page and Marilyn Monroe.

La Boudoir (6900 Biscayne Blvd., Miami) is hosting their Grand Opening Party tomorrow. You can expect Chantilly Lace cocktails, food catered from downstairs neighbor Uva 69, a DJ, models, burlesque dancers, and--oddly enough--circus performers. Let's hope they're not all going to be dressed in nighties. You might not want to come dressed in your sheer PJs, yourself.
